The Journey So Far..............
About Us
Our journey began with a God-given vision to build a multicultural church that transcends language barriers, inspired by the beautifully diverse communities flowing into the Atlanta area. We launched our Saturday fellowships in July 2022, followed by our very first Sunday service on September 25, 2022.
We initially gathered at a school in Cumming, but God soon led us to Buford Church of God (BCOG) through a series of providential encounters. BCOG generously welcomed us, offering full use of their wonderful facilities. By 2025, they graciously helped us transition to our current home at Lanier Church of God. We are profoundly grateful for God's faithfulness and guidance. Today, the Lord continues to bring families from various languages and backgrounds into our church community, and we are excited to see the next chapters He is writing for us.
Pr. Anil Balachandran
As the Associate Pastor at New Beginning Fellowship, Anil Balachandran is deeply dedicated to discipleship and spiritual formation. Though raised in a nominal Christian household in India, a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ at age 19 transformed his life and called him into ministry.
Since 1999, Anil has been married to Tessy George, who grew up primarily in the United States. Together with their two children, Nathanael and Gabrielle, the family is devoted to building God's Kingdom in this generation.
Balancing a professional career as an engineer with various roles in church and para-church ministries over the years, Anil brings a practical, thoughtful, and creative approach to his work. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, listening to music, and fixing cars. Serving as Associate Pastor since 2023, Anil’s ultimate desire is to guide believers toward maturity in Christ, helping them live out the Gospel with purpose and joy.

Dr. Tony Thomas
Pastor Tony Thomas is a certified minister of the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). He has a deep passion for helping people become children of the eternal Father through the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and fostering their growth in the understanding of the Word of God and their connection with the Holy Spirit. Pr. Tony cares deeply about believers collaborating through prayer, engaging in small groups, individual discussions, and developing their leadership skills. He wishes for Christians to remain strong in their faith and to utilize their gifts from the Holy Spirit. Tony’s wife, Jasmine, shares a strong commitment to serving others. Together, they have three children: Immanuel, Elsa, and Elesha. The family joyfully dedicates their lives to serving the Lord.
Our Belief
Our beliefs, doctrines, and statement of faith are primarily grounded in the Bible, the word of God. We are also affiliated with the Church of God in Cleveland, TN.
